Top Items that Men Need to look and Stay Kempt

There is nothing as annoying and discouraging to a woman as a handsome man who is shaggy, dirty and unkempt man. To me a clean man is attractive, bold and very easy to approach and interact with.

I sampled out a few must have things for the man to have in his house apart from the video games, movie series, big flat-screen television and a Manchester united poster on the wall.
A handkerchief
Having a hankie in your pocket does not turn you into a woman, men! It is very annoying to see a grown up mature man in the 21st century wiping off sweat from his face using the palm of his hand or elbow. Just put it in your trouser pocket. It won’t bite I promise

A suit
As a matter of both utility and principle, every man needs at least one suit in his closet. But do it right. Make sure the suit is tailored to fit your body and show off the hard work you’ve done in the gym, and in the kitchen. Go for a neutral color, like navy, grey or black.
The Interview Experience. Hiring managers for non-service industry, salaried positions pay attention to these things. "Pride is the prevailing spirit of superior man"

Underwear
source:google
Generally speaking, unless you decided to entertain a special friend, the only person who will ever see your underwear is you. That doesn’t make it any less important to have quality undergarments. Consider it the foundation of your wardrobe. Buy quality clothing, even if no one will ever see it.

It’s one of those secret confidence builders. You may not think about it in such explicit terms, but being dressed well from the skin out will impact how you interact with people, from the clerk at the grocery store to the person interviewing you for that spiffy job you want. Keep it extremely clean.

Shoes
A nice pair of shoes can upgrade any outfit. If you're going to choose one, go with a brown pair that you can mix in with any look.

Socks.
A man who puts on closed shoes without socks needs some serious prayers

Shoe-Polish

You wash, dry, dry-clean, and iron your clothes. Are you giving your shoes the same attention? Because the same principle applies: A little effort goes a long way.

Belt
Here's a general man-law: If your pants have belt loops, wear a belt. Another tip: Always match your belt with your shoes.

Cologne

Here's something you already know: Women like a man who smells good. If you're just starting out picking a fragrance, find one scent you like. Then build on that. Just don't bathe in it. Spray a little on your chest and the base of your throat.(mmmmh)

Wallet
We're all too old now to just shove things in our pockets. Just remember, this isn't your father's giant, bulging leather wallet that protrudes from his back pocket. Go for a thinner version or use a simple card holder.

Travel Bag

You've graduated from backpacks and gym bags. Toss your things into a more respectable carrying case that's perfect for a weekend getaway or business trip. It has enough space for all the essentials without being too bulky or difficult to deal with.

Decent watch

Yes, you could check the time on your cell phone or your tablet, or your laptop or the positioning of the sun. But a nice watch says a lot about your taste. Consider it the grandfather of all accessories. It can be a vintage watch, it can be n expensive watch, it can be an affordable watch that has a special meaning to you.  Just own a watch you care about.

Grooming kit
Real men take time with the details of their hygiene. Keeping your nails trimmed and clean is actually a huge adult move. Have a small grooming kit that includes nail clippers, scissors, tweezers, and a nail file for hangnail or splinter emergencies.
Unless you have a live-in barber, consider this an essential tool kit for your face. It’s part of planning ahead and taking care of yourself.

An iron and an ironing board

Yes, it's easier to take all your clothes to the cleaners, but that's not always practical. You never want to leave home looking like you slept in your clothes. And you've passed the stage where it's okay to iron your shirt on the kitchen counter. Ironed clothes make a man look neat and handsome.

Being self-sufficient and presenting a neat appearance are two parts of growing up. Likely, your mother did it for you when you were younger, but those days are over, Man.

Being freshly pressed in every social circumstance proclaims you someone who takes time to tend to details, and that’s positive press coverage you want to attract.

A pair of sunglasses

Find a pair that compliments your face. Aviators and wayfarers are safe bets if you're looking to add a little flair. I call them (criminology yeeeeeah). And do not put them on at night or in the office.  I prefer one having them on during a leisure walk,

A smart Pen
Lastly having a pen that doesn’t come in a multi-pack and isn’t made of plastic is actually a huge sign that you’re an adult. It's like nice shoes, a good watch, or a sport coat, is an investment. It need not be the most expensive pen to be nice, simply a metal pen that takes refills rather than getting tossed out when it’s empty.

This isn’t a luxury, though it does mark you as a person who enjoys quality things and values personal items with longevity.

Men, cleanliness is next to Godliness and doesn't make  or turn you into a woman a woman
