7 Attributes of a woman

"A woman was not created as God's after thoughts," Apostle Judith addressed the congregation during one of the many women's conferences that I have attended. This one gave that feeling of, how comes I've never thought of it that way. It also gave me a very new way of viewing a woman.

There are a number of different sides of a woman that I think can make us
understand who a woman really is. Proverbs 31 gives a summary of a few of those sides and today I also want to outline a few.

1. Sweetness
There's something about a woman that makes life beautiful and exciting. Not because I am one but because I have seen and been told a couple of times that women do complete a home. A home with no motherly touch is 95% almost noticeable (5% to give credit to the hardworking single fathers out there). I think married men who truly cherish their wives can make this point more clear.

2. Helper
First, God noticed that man was lonely, he needed someone to entice his life(the woman's sweetness). Secondly, God told him that He would make him a helper. I remember an article I read of how the now retired president Obama and Mitchell his wife were out having dinner one evening and the waiter apparently was Mitchell's ex. So Obama tried to get the credit for having Mitchell but Mitchell confidently told him that the then waiter would also have been the president of the United States of America had she been his wife. I'll leave you to think about that.

3. Precious

Paul wrote advising men to love their wives as Christ loves the Church. This is how Christ loves the Church, that a man would die for a people that did not even know him. God calls us the apple of His eye and no greater love is this as a man would lay down his life for his friends. The church is worth the blood of Jesus. What are the women in your society worth?

4. Smart
Proverbs 31 shows us a picture of a woman who is an investor, a builder, a designer and still a home maker. It takes calculation and a lot of balancing to accomplish all these. No wonder they say that women can multitask.

5. Warrior
Apostle Judith, during the same seminar expounded the meaning of the name Deborah which means a bee. A bee has two characters that we know quite well, one of which being a warrior. It can really sting. I say, a woman has a way of fighting for what she wants. She can get it by working hard and achieving a great career and also she can sweet talk her way to her want. Both of which are to her advantage. We know the power of a praying woman too. The movie, The War Room can give you a clear picture of this.

6. Strength
This is a little different from a warrior in that a warrior is strategic and doesn't have to be as strong as the opponent to win a battle. As much as a woman is seen as a weaker being, maybe because of her aggressive emotions I believe her inner strength is on of the key factors that make her stand out. Taking a picture of a single mother. I have seen great men and women in the society who attribute their success to their single parents, specifically a mother in this case. A woman who is willing can achieve so much and still be a woman. One who is able to overcome her adversities, no one can stop her.

7. An incubator.
I know this one is common. We are all born of women. Give a woman a house and she will give you a home. Give a woman a seed and she will give you a baby. In her hands, things grow and mature.

I believe a woman has all of these and more beautiful attributes that God gave her. I haven't even mentioned Love and care. The list is long but how each chooses to use them differs. After saying all these I will finish with what Proverbs 31:30 says. Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
